We first create our own southern fig preserves by slowly cooking locally grown Alabama brown turkey figs with raw turbinado sugar. Next, we fold the preserves into our fresh spreadable sheep cheese along with a pinch of fresh lemon zest. The result is a sweetly tart, bright and creamy spread perfect for breakfast breads and desserts.
