The Easiest Way To Cook Bacon

Cooking in the skillet may be the traditional way, but oven baked bacon is gaining in popularity so here's how we do it.  Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap for even cooking. Bake the bacon for 15-20 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until it reaches your desired level of crispiness.  Doing this helps you keep the rendered fat that's useful in other dishes or part of your carnivore diet.

Bacon Grease

One of the best-kept secrets of our bacon is the leftover grease – an incredible tool for flavoring your favorite dishes. Use it to fry eggs, sauté vegetables, or create a rich base for sauces and gravies.  However you choose to cook bacon, don't throw away the grease!  We strain it, then add it to a clean mason jar and store it at room temperature for it's next use.
