Braised Osso Buco

We love Osso Buco - this tender cut falls off the bone and the taste is out of this world! We offer Lamb and Pork and this recipe features our pork.
Ingredients
- (3 TBSP) Seasoning of choice
- (1 Cup) Cherry Tomatoes
- (1 Head peeled apart) Fresh Garlic
- (1/2 Onion sliced) Onion
- (One Potatoe Diced) Potatoe
- (3 sprigs) Rosemary
- (2 Sprigs) Sage
- (1 Pack) Osso Buco - Pork - 1.26-1.5 Lbs.
- (3 TBSP) Lard
- (12 oz) Kombucha
- (24 OZ) Marinara Sauce
Directions
- Allow your Osso Buco to sit out at room temp and blot with paper towel to soak up the juices. You are going to sear this.
- Season Osso with desired seasoning on each side.
- Place Lard in skillet and melt. Place meat in skillet and sear on each side until brown.
- Drain Juice and add Vegetables/Herbs.
- Add kombucha - this is acidic which helps tenderize and add flavor to the meat - it's delicious!
- Place in 250 degree oven and cook for 2 hours. Remove and add jar of marinara sauce.
- Place back in oven for 30 min to allow sauce to heat up. Remove and enjoy!
